Financial Support for New SHP Projects
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is encouraging setting up of Small
Hydro Power (SHP) projects in the private sector, joint sector, co-operative sector
and Govt. Depts., Agencies, State Electricity Boards. The Ministry will provide
financial support for the new SHP projects up to 25 MW capacity. The quantum of
financial support will be extended as per the following details:
